✦ The sea, close by
Postiguet beach is an eight-minute walk, about 600 metres. And four minutes away, 300 metres, you have the Mercado tram stop for the other beaches along the coast.
✦ Where to eat
The five we recommend, and what to order at each one.
| La Taverna del Racó del Pla | rice dishes and saquitos manzanares |
| Alma de Barra | cigalas a la diabla, langoustines in a spicy sauce |
| El Zagálico | zarangollo, scrambled courgette and onion |
| Restaurante Gravina | seafood |
| El Cantó | tapas and montaditos |

✦ A day out
The house secret: the Baños de la Reina, in El Campello. The one place only the locals know.
What people ask us for most: the island of Tabarca, and Altea.
